Emotional Eating.
One-Day Workshop
Food is rarely just about food.
For many people, eating becomes a way of coping with stress, loneliness, overwhelm, boredom or painful emotions. It can bring comfort, distraction or temporary relief, before being followed by guilt, shame or promises to “start again tomorrow.”
This workshop offers a compassionate space to understand why emotional eating develops, what it may have been trying to protect you from, and how you can begin building new ways of caring for yourself without relying solely on food.
What we’ll explore
Understanding emotional eating with compassion
The difference between physical and emotional hunger
Why dieting often makes the cycle worse
Recognising emotional triggers
Developing alternative ways of meeting your emotional needs
Is this workshop for me?
This workshop may be a good fit if you:
Find yourself eating in response to emotions rather than hunger
Feel trapped in cycles of comfort eating followed by guilt
Have spent years trying to “fix” your eating through willpower or dieting
Want to understand your relationship with food rather than fight it
Long for a kinder, more peaceful relationship with yourself
